Warranty

At Blackwood Cabinets Inc., we take pride in the quality and craftsmanship of our cabinetry. We stand behind our products with a Limited Lifetime Warranty that assures the original residential purchaser that their cabinets will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal household use for as long as they own their home. This warranty applies only to cabinetry manufactured and distributed by Blackwood and is not transferable or eligible for extension by any additional representative of Blackwood.

Our cabinets are designed for indoor residential environments and should be stored, installed, and maintained in areas with controlled temperature and humidity. Because wood is a natural product, variations in grain, color, and texture are expected and enhance the unique beauty of every piece. Normal aging, darkening, or mellowing of the wood and finish over time are natural and not considered defects. Slight expansion, contraction, or hairline finish cracks that occur with seasonal changes are also considered normal and do not affect product performance.

This warranty does not cover damage caused by improper handling, installation, assembly, cleaning, or maintenance, or by exposure to moisture, heat, sunlight, or other environmental conditions. It also excludes issues resulting from misuse, neglect, alteration, or accidents. Hardware such as hinges and drawer slides are covered under a separate limited warranty of five (5) years or as provided by the hardware manufacturer. For products installed in commercial or rental settings, coverage is limited to one (1) year from the original purchase date.

If a warranty issue arises, Blackwood’s obligation is limited to repairing, replacing, or issuing a credit for the affected component at our discretion and based on availability. Labor, installation, removal, or transportation costs are not covered. Warranty claims must be submitted in writing to support@blackwoodcabinets.com within thirty (30) days of discovering the issue and must include proof of purchase and photographs of the defect. Replacement parts may differ slightly in finish or materials from the originals due to production updates and natural wood variation.

This Limited Lifetime Warranty replaces all other warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Blackwood Cabinets Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of its products. Some states do not allow certain limitations, so these exclusions may not apply to every purchaser. This warranty shall be governed by the laws of the State of Georgia.
